Scholarships
Music Scholarships recognise and reward
the talent and dedication of the most
able musicians.
Scholarships are usually available at 9+, 13+ and in the 6th Form.
The level of scholarship varies between, Major Scholarship; anything up to 100% of fees and free lessons on 2 instruments and Music Exhibitions; free lessons on 2 instruments.
For the audition, Music Scholarship candidates are required to perform on 2 instruments or 1 instrument and voice; one of these would usually be at least grade 5 standard.
It should however be recognised that these are base level requirements and that a significant number competing for these limited places will have reached a higher standard.
We are able offer an insight on how to best prepare your child both technically and musically alongside the attributes they will need to come across with confidence and passion for their subject.
